FAQ

What exactly do you do?
I teach. More specifically, I teach people how to deal with money. Too many “financial experts” skip the important stuff. Ignoring debt, budgeting, and other proper money habits have only led to an ugly economy.

What do you think about financial management software?
The software is good, but its how the consumer uses the software that makes it bad. Money rarely has anything to do with numbers. Money is all about habits and discipline. Financial management software doesn’t teach you these vital habits. Pete the Planner does.

Can you help us with debt?
If you mean “can I pay your debt?”. No. But, if you mean can I help you pay your debt. Yes. We are not a debt counseling service, but we can instruct you on the best way to handle some consumer debt.

Do I need to involve my spouse?
Yes. The biggest key to financial success is getting your spouse on board. Remember, if you don’t trust your spouse with your money, then you don’t trust your spouse.

I live out of state. Can we do this over the phone and on the internet?
Yes. That is exactly what the internet is for. And since you are reading FAQs on the internet, that should work out well for both of us. Pete chats with clients all over the country daily using Skype.

Is Pete the Planner available for media appearances?
Of course he can. He does it all the time. Please contact: Media Appearances 2159 Glebe St., Suite 200A, Carmel, IN 46032. Call 317-640-0590 or email media@petetheplanner.com
