  4. Don’t take your debit or credit card to a casino. There is no need to tempt yourself with other peoples’ money.
  5. Married with kids and no life insurance? You will not win parent of the year and you will not collect $200.
  6. Going over maximum lease miles? Why? Do the math.
  7. Stop giving money to your adult children.
  8. Donate some money to charity. No matter how broke you are, someone is always broker.
  9. Always buy lemonade from your neighborhood kids’ lemonade stand. It is the right thing to do. Don’t pay in coins. Give them a dollar.
  10. Do your taxes on time. Late fees are nuts.
