Pam’s main concerns, in her own words:
My husband and I are in our mid 50’s and have been married for 29 years. He has put in 39 years with his company and will retire next year. I am employed and will probably remain employed in some manner. We are selling our home and buying another house in another area of Indiana. His father recently passed and left him a nice inheritance that we did not know about. We are now debt free and have the rest invested. We want to make smart decisions over the next few years.
What we cover on the episode:
Living on projected income
Breaking income dependency
Realistic retirement plan
Managing an inheritance
Assisting adult children
