I hate student loans. I love ingenuity. I will support people that feel the same way. Meet Katie Dwyer. She is about to enter her fourth year of college at Huntington University. She currently can’t afford to go back to school to finish her degree. This wasn’t going to work for her. She decided that she is too close to her goal to give up. This is where her ingenuity comes into play.
Katie created a site called Dollar by Dollar. The point of the website is simple: get enough people to donate one dollar in order for her to finish school. She needs $7,780. In just a couple of weeks her website has raised over $4,200. You may be asking a very important question such as, “What makes this so special?” It’s special because she is doing it and succeeding. Millions of college students get to this exact same point every single year and just give up. They don’t have enough money, so they turn directly to student loans. I think this ridiculous. If you want to succeed in life, then you need to take control of your life. Katie is taking care of her life.
I have donated to her cause, and I hope you will too. Be a small part of a young lady doing a good thing.
