This week on PTPTV, I sat down with my friend Pippa Mann, racing superstar. And WOW, does she know how to hustle. I don’t know anyone who hustles like Pippa. We talk all about her financial reality as a racecar driver. If you watch the races, you might see the big check at the end of the race and think, “Gee, these drivers really have it made”. The reality is, it takes a lot, lot, lot of work just to get into the car on race day. The big check they receive doesn’t go directly to the driver, but to the team as a whole. This means Pippa spends all year raising the money necessary in order get on the track in May.
Beyond the money she needs to bring in just to race, Pippa spends a lot of time and money fundraising for Susan G. Komen. If you’ve seen Pippa race before, you’ll notice her car is a delightful pink—a donated space for breast cancer research and awareness.
If you’re like me and grew up around racing or if you’re just fascinated with unique financial situations, you won’t want to miss this episode. Plus, Pippa has a British accent! Who doesn’t want to listen to her talk?
Check out Pippa on Twitter, Instagram, or on her website.

UPDATE: My dream of being on a racecar is going to be a reality! Pippa will be a part of the Indy 500 this year and I want to help her keep that car running all the way to the finish line. Contribute to my GoFundMe campaign to help fund Pippa and get my logo in the tiniest available spot on her pink car. If you’re a big race fan like me, this is your chance to be a part of making it happen this year.
